Altero Italian Restaurant is currently hiring experienced culinary professionals to join its kitchen team in Achrafieh. The restaurant is seeking passionate and skilled candidates for the positions of Sous Chef and Chef de Partie (Grill Section) on a full-time basis.
1. Sous Chef
The Sous Chef will support the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, consistency, and efficient team coordination.
- Assist in supervising kitchen operations
- Support menu preparation and food production
- Ensure quality control and consistency of dishes
- Train and guide kitchen staff
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
- Coordinate with the Head Chef to optimize kitchen performance
2. Chef de Partie (Grill Section)
The Chef de Partie will be responsible for managing the grill station, preparing dishes according to restaurant standards, and maintaining quality and consistency during service.
- Manage and organize the grill station
- Prepare and cook grill dishes according to recipes and standards
- Ensure proper food storage and stock rotation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation
- Collaborate with the kitchen team during service hours
